This old postcard shows a photo of the Four Courts in Dublin, Ireland. This is the location of the Supreme, High and Central Criminal Courts in Ireland. It was built sometime between 1796 and 1802.

Its a small town with approx 8000 people. Fermoy is home to the famous US born Irish Dancer Michael Flatley.

O'Connell Bridge in Dublin City

This picture shows O'Connell bridge in Dublin city centre with Sackville Street in the background, this street is now known as O'Connell St. O'Connell bridge is supposedly unique in Europe because its the only bridge which is as wide as it is long.

Railway Bridge Athlone Ireland

This picture shows the white Railway bridge over the River Shannon in Athlone, Westmeath, Ireland. It was built in 1850 and its approximately 540 ft in length. In the early years the central span was opened twice per year for Yachts taking part in a race on Lough Ree. At the time of building the Iron Works were shipping to Limerick, Ireland and were then brought to Athlone by barge.

The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin

This is an old photo of the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin which was built in 1824. It is situated close to St. Stephens Green in Dublin's city centre. In 1922 room 112 of the Shelbourne Hotel was used for the drafting of the Irish Constitution, this room is now known as 'The Constitution Room'.

Patrick St in Cork City

Cork is the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland. The name of this city comes from the Irish word 'Corcach' which means 'marshy place'. This is in reference to its location on the River Lee. This old postcard show a view of Patrick St, one of the main streets in Cork city.
